VetiVa Lounge
Project type
Animal Wellness Centre - Lounge
Date
December 2024
Location
Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
CS Designo & Works Limited envisioned the Main Lounge of VetiVa Centre as the heart of a new standard in veterinary healthcare — where spatial elegance meets operational excellence. Purposefully crafted to offer both emotional reassurance and architectural distinction, this reception zone sets the tone for one of Hong Kong’s most forward-thinking veterinary institutions.
Framed by expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing, the space is awash in natural daylight, opening outward to panoramic city views that infuse calm and openness. A neutral tonal palette — layered with honed stone textures, metallic accents, and soft upholstery — establishes a poised atmosphere that is equally sophisticated and welcoming.
At the core of the experience is the monolithic reception counter, sculpted in pristine marble and punctuated by suspended greenery installations that evoke vitality and well-being. Surrounding this centerpiece, a curated seating lounge with tailored furniture and minimalist side tables provides comfort without compromise, balancing luxury with quiet functionality.
Spatial programming is meticulously considered. Consultation suites and pharmaceutical services are discreetly positioned for privacy and flow, while the adjoining gallery zone serves as an aesthetic transition — a soft moment that bridges the public and clinical realms. Here, animal-inspired artworks reflect the Centre’s ethos of empathy, care, and design-driven storytelling.
Every material, finish, and line is selected to convey professionalism, clarity, and trust. Linear lighting profiles and bespoke detailing further articulate the space, reinforcing the Centre’s identity as a leader in modern pet healthcare. More than a waiting room, the Main Area embodies the values of wellness, artistry, and architectural intentionality — a welcoming threshold into a new kind of veterinary experience.
